Just like every day, i started my day with two glasses of water on an empty stomach then had my cup of coffee (1 tsp of Nescafe, 3 tsp of fat free coffee mate, 2 tsp of sugar) followed by 3 brown toast with two portions of Sylphide cheese and a teaspoon of strawberry jam all along with my glass of skimmed milk!
I had for lunch 150 g of chicken liver with a salad made of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions with a balsamic vinegar dressing! Chicken liver is a great source of vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) and if you didn’t know, any deficiency in this vitamin will interfere with your body’s capacity to burn fat, the reason for which liver is considered among foods that fight fat! Each 85g of liver contain 150 Calories, 324 mg of cholesterol and 4 g of fat; thus all those suffering from high blood cholesterol can only eat 150g of liver once every two weeks. The best and healthiest way to prepare chicken liver is to cook them in a pan with pomegranate molasses. They are high in iron, niacin, selenium, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin A and Zinc!
As an afternoon snack i had two kiwi fruits that are rich in vitamins, flavanoids, minerals, fiber and contain a very high amount of vitamin C!
I had dinner at Bristol hotel and from their rich and generous buffet i selected the following:
Rocket salad with mushrooms, grapefruits, raisins and a light balsamic dressing, an apricot filled with brie cheese, cherry tomatoes with goat cheese and pesto sauce and 60g of baked chicken with a luscious sauce!
