Just like every day, i started my day with two glasses of water on an empty stomach then had my cup of coffee (1 tsp of Nescafe, 3 tsp of fat free coffee mate, 2 tsp of sugar) followed by 30g of Bran flakes with a glass of vanilla flavored soy milk (Alpro) ! This combination is a true delicacy and is most importantly  fulfilling!

I had for lunch a large bowl of tabbouleh knowing that i’d be going out at night for dinner!

As an afternoon snack i had an apple and a small banana!

I had dinner at Nina’s place (a dinner that i eagerly wait for every year) where not only the atmosphere, setting and music are in great harmony but also and most importantly the exquisite homemade food  leaves us with a memorable dining experience!

On such occasions you can’t just fill your dish with salads and vegetables but would have to taste from everything and minimize the portion sizes !

(Clockwise: 1 small piece of Asparagus and cheese quiche, 1 chicken roll, 1 mushrooms ravioli, 10g of gigot, green salad with grapefruits and a light mustard dressing)

I couldn’t resist Nina’s famous specialty that’s the toothsome paella! And ate a large spoon!

As for deserts, no pictures or details will be revealed 🙂

What really matters on such occasions is to eat from everything and always remember that moderation is the key!

And, i’m definitely hitting the gym tomorrow 🙂
