Just like every day, i started my day with two glasses of water on an empty stomach then had my cup of coffee (1 tsp of Nescafe, 3 tsp of fat free coffee mate, 2 tsp of sugar) followed by 30g of fruit’n fiber with a glass of skimmed milk!

As a first snack, i had a bowl of red fruits coulis…

had for lunch a salad made of lettuce and tomatoes with balsamic dressing and 1 1/2 cup of cooked pasta with a teaspoon of pesto sauce!

As an afternon snack i had a bowl of low fat mhalabieh !

Mhalabiyeh is typically a Lebanese dessert and can be found in other Middle Eastern countries (Syria, Jordan, etc.). It is made of milk, sugar, corn flour and rose water! A true delicacy ranked among my favorite desserts! It is a great source of calcium and should be eaten in moderation just like all other sweets! If prepared at home, one could easily decrease the caloric content by substituting regular milk with skimmed-milk!
I shared for dinner a goat cheese camembert and parma ham salad that i prepared at home with lettuce, sultana raisins a sweet balsamic dressing! A true delicacy!

Be sociable while eating and enable new conversations each time you find yourself on the dining table. Take thirty minutes to finish each meal, since eating slowly can reduce your intake by 70 calories per meal, which translates into a saving of more than 200 calories per day!
