Sunday’s brunch is most of the times inevitable leaving you with little or no options to overdo it since it’s this one and only sun day of the week…At times where guilt-ridden indulgence is highly wanted and more appreciated than painful abstinence following those tips would lead you to choose healthier options and still enjoy it all!

“The difference between involvement and commitment is like ham and eggs. The chicken is involved; the pig is committed.”

Martina Navratilova

Ordering the healthiest option :Eggs!

-A combination of egg whites and whole eggs, as the yolk has 60 calories, all the fat, the cholesterol and one egg white has 15 calories with most of the proteins.

-With vegetables: spinach, mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, onions, etc.

-Claim to be allergic to butter and margarine and save those unwanted 150 calories.

-I’m sorry to burst your bacon-loving bubble because you simply have to avoid it in all its forms! It’s high in Sodium, Saturated fats and Nitrates that form Nitrosamines that are carcinogenic upon cooking.

-You can add turkey slices to your omelette

-Replace the hash browns or potato wedges with a green salad with cherry tomatoes and a light dressing

-Go for whole wheat bread and limit yourself to two slices

-Instead of ordering many glasses of fruit juices that add up many calories, go for a bowl of fresh fruits as they are much more consistent than drinks.

-Avoid croissant, pastries, pancakes that are usually loaded with empty calories and have low degrees of satiety!
