These shortbread pastries, filled with almonds, walnuts, pistachios or dates when shaped into smaller sized ones with a reduced quantity of filling and consumed in moderation, can be a memorable afternoon snack … One bite and the experience of “involuntary memory” would always take one back to the reminiscence of happy festive days …
